We Are Going Green!

Starting next week, we plan to carry ORGANIC chicken breasts as substitute for $7 extra for any 3-serving dinner. To request for substitutes including beans, soy chicken, organic chicken or brown rice, etc., simply indicate your wishes in the “Special Request” field and we will do everything we can to accommodate given enough notice. We will get back to you with availability and pricing variance if any.

We always thought that there must be a better way than using all that plastic freezer bags. Until bio-degradable freezer bags are widely available, here is a way we/you can help!

By bringing your own reusable freezable tupperware, and not using the store freezer bags, you will receive a free Taste of Dream Dinners. (Make sure that you bring enough containers and that you have enough freezer space for these bulkier items.)

i would like to ask you, Dream Dinners, since you are a company now supplying many americans with wholesome meals, if you would let me know where it is that you obtain your meats. i understand that it is easiest and most cost efficient to buy meat that comes from factory farms. as a business that feeds its customers im sure that you care greatly for their satisfaction and well being, which i believe has everything to do with what people eat. Factory farms are part of the largest source of air, soil and water pollutants if not only in this country but in the world. as many people do not see where their food comes from much farther than their plates, i find that it is food suppliers that have the chance to play a huge role in helping the planet and to bring awareness to americas eaters. i’ve read that you have non-meat substitutes and organic meat options. i understand that health has great importance, but i also think that sustainable food sources are of dire need. i respect that your company works to aid your customers with time saving, money saving and trash saving, i ask that your company take on, if you havnt already, the badge of earth saving. i would like to know what companies you buy your meats from, and again, if you have not already, please look into the practices of these companies. Food has great power.
    thank you

Thanks so much, Taylor, for your passionate observation! I agree that environmental preservation is very important, and the food industry does have a big impact.

I will pass on your recommendation to our food department in the home office which is in charge of procurement. I know they will appreciate it!
