Treats for Thanksgiving… and a Review of Creamy Chicken Risotto

As I organize my son’s 3rd grade class’ Halloween party, and help my pre-teen daughter select her costume, I can’t help but feel their excitement over the treats coming their way. Oooo, all those chocolates and sweets filling up to the brim of buckets!

For grown-ups (most grown-ups any way), the real treats at this season are not the all-you-can-eat candy, but something far more meaningful. This is the season when we make plans to warm up some one’s heart; this is the season when we give and receive; this is the season when we make family and friends know how much they mean to us.

The way I see it, every time we give a treat, it is to acknowledge to someone that we value them. From coaches to teachers, from bosses to helpers, from family to neighbors… our lives will not be the same without them. So this Holiday season, why not give a treat of family dinner that can warm up their hearts and souls? If you like, we can assemble the treats for you to pick-up or even deliver them for you (see picture with temperature-controlled delivery gift box.)

A great dish to give or serve is our Creamy Chicken Risotto. Full of flavors from chicken, bacon, mushrooms, peas, and broth, this Italian dish can serve as a main dish or side dish. It presents elegantly and reheats well. In fact, it tastes so delicious that we served it when I went on the road for business presentations.

You will have an opportunity to taste the Creamy Chicken Risotto and Holiday Stuffing this Saturday, October 30th, between 1 and 3 pm. The tasting preview can help you plan your Thanksgiving meals and gift giving. First come, first serve until we run out.

Best of all, you will be able to enroll in our new Dream Rewards program and receive 5% off and receive a Dream Dinners gift. My gift to you this season is to help you establish a good dinner planning routine. I hope you will accept it.
