The many uses of turkey… and about time for something new!
Our Thanksgiving meal was super easy! Between watching videos, sipping hot chocolate with the kids, I cooked a 16 lb turkey, Green Bean Casserole, Sweet Potatoes with Walnuts, Cheesy Mashed Potatoes, Bbiscuits. Gravy, Cranberry Relish. Everything turned out perfect and I didn’t even break a sweat! (Not to rub it in, but if you toiled hours in the supermarket and in the kitchen, and still were not happy with the results, it may be time to rethink the return of your hard work.)
So, now I still have about 6 lb of turkey breast left in the refrigerator. The exciting part is my husband LOVES turkey leftover. Here are some ideas: turkey sandwich, turkey enchilada, turkey wraps, turkey chili, and turkey pasta. Do you have other suggestions? Do share!
