Last Chance and a Sneak Preview… and a Review of Pesto Ravioli

One of the greatest yet most challenging things about owning a place like Dream Dinner is that I can never get bored. We are just about getting used to the “honey-do” prep work of the September recipes, it is time to take it all down and start anew!

Watching out for my kids’ favorites, we served the Pesto Cheese Ravioli with Chicken last night. During my customization, I skipped walnuts, and added mushrooms and spinach for the extra helping of vegetables. I also prefer the raw chicken breasts over the pre-cooked chicken strips. It does require the extra steps of using the skillet to brown the chicken and shred the breasts with forks, but it was worth it. (Note to guests, you can always request for protein substitutes – that’s the beauty of meal assembly!)

Two more days of September menu and we will be serving the Mexican Meatballs for a taste on Saturday (see the story below). I am also excited about our Soup & Sub Special for Football Parties. As soon as the Special is ready, we will post it on the Grab&Go list. I know MY husband will be happy. Hope yours will be, too!
