Kids Pick Ravioli…. and Announcing Family Friendly Day

Kids can learn so much making meals. They learn math when measuring ingredients; they learn to focus when following directions; they learn how to keep germs away when adhering to their hand-washing procedures; they learn to cooperate when working with others; they learn to be independent when they are “in charge” of a recipe. Hey, they may just decide to try different foods than Mac & Cheese!
Kids age 12 and older are welcome to attend any session with an adult. Kids age 5 – 12 can attend Family Friendly Day!
This is the last week of the February menu, and we are designating this Thursday, February 24, to be a Family Friendly Day! We have stepping stools to help them out, and we have a lounge area with kids books and toys to keep them occupied. Simply note in the Special Request field so we can be prepared.
One recipe you don’t want to miss is the Pesto Cheese Ravioli with Chicken & Walnuts (walnuts optional). One of our loyal customers said that her kids can’t live without it :> It is also one of my fall-back all purpose dinner when I forget to make plans. I generally add spinach and mushroom to the sauce for more vegetables for adults, and skip the walnuts for my kids. The flexibility of customizing dishes to suit each family member’s needs is one of the best advantages of using Dream Dinners.
Kids age 8 and older are welcome to attend our summer cooking camp. We only have two sessions with 12 spots each each summer, so sign up early.
You can also book a private Little Chef Special Occasion for birthday celebrations, scouts field trips, club outings, and community services.
